Knole House – National Trust Estate
We were appointed to deliver specialist fire compartmentation works within the historic loft spaces of this Grade I listed National Trust property, building on previous works undertaken in 2015. The scope included the installation of two Envirograf fire barrier curtain systems, carefully designed to provide effective fire separation while allowing access for staff and accommodating protected bat species within the roof voids.
The works were completed following consultation with the site manager, Fire Risk Assessor, Listed Building Consent officers, and a bat specialist, alongside associated fire-resisting floor barrier works. Further compartmentation works are planned across occupied and public areas of the wider estate.

Salisbury House – Workspace
We were appointed as a trusted specialist subcontractor to deliver fire door remedial works within this occupied office and shared workspace environment. The scope was developed following a review of the main contractor’s report, supported by a detailed site survey to confirm requirements prior to quotation.
Our teams are experienced in working within live office settings, carefully coordinating with site staff to manage noise, access, and working areas with minimal disruption. The initial phase focused on fire door remedials, with a second phase planned for 2026 involving the installation of 30+ new fire door sets.

London Road, Brentwood – Residential Building .
Following a non-fatal fire within a residential flat, we were appointed to carry out fire door replacement and remedial works. While the fire was successfully contained to the flat of origin by the fire brigade, several doors were damaged during the evacuation, with additional doors identified as requiring attention following the incident.
We supported the client and individual leaseholders through the decision making process, advising on compliant fire door set replacements and suitable styles. The works included the installation of four new fire door sets, associated fanlights, and additional fire door remedials. Each flat owner was dealt with individually and provided with consistent support and full compliance documentation to ensure the safety of both the building and its occupants.
